What Does It Do?

StreamTwitter is a lightweight web-based script used for streaming tweets in real-time on TVs, projectors and other video sources at events. Perfect for nightclubs, concerts, djs, conferences, trade-shows, lectures,  presentations and more. Gain followers and network with more people at every event you do. It's simple to setup and easy to customize the look of. It can stream live tweets to users, from users and/or tweets found including specified keywords or hashtags. It can censor bad words, plus a whole lot more! Just open the script on your laptop, switch to full screen mode and connect to a video source.

What Does It Require?

StreamTwitter can be set up in 3 easy steps:

• Add your search word to the script
• Connect your computer to a video source
• Open StreamTwitter in a web browser

To do this you'll need:

• A laptop or a computer with an Internet connection
• An Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc)
• TV or TVs that are bridged together, or a projector
• Basic text editor (such as Notepad or Textedit, standard free programs that comes with all Macs and PCs).
• A video adapter with cables long enough to reach  the video source. Most video adapters are only around $19.95. Some laptops come with video adapters already installed. If you have ever plugged your laptop into a projector before, you will already know how simple and inexpensive it is.
• Optionally, you can upload it to a web host and run it off your web server so people can also tune in from anywhere!

We can also fully setup a live Twitter stream and customize it for you if you desire. All you will have to do is connect to the Internet and plug it into the video source at your event. We charge $75 an hour and can usually set up a Twitter Stream with custom graphics in under 3 hours, only 1 hour if your do not require custom graphics. Please contact us for such requests.

With your account, we provide 3 months of ticketed support free with every account. We always try to respond to any question you may have within 24hrs.

Does Is Work With All Twitter Accounts?

You do not need a Twitter account to set up a live stream, and you do not have to stream accounts you own, you can stream any account that is searchable. Twitter keeps a quality score, if an account is deemed low quality (abuses the Twitter usage terms, duplicates status updates, spams, aggressively follows, etc) the account will be removed from Twitter's search. It's best to read the Twitter Search Best Practices article and the My Tweets Are Missing From Search article to make sure the account you are interested in streaming is not being filtered out of the results. Unfortunately this is the case with all live Twitter streams, so don't abuse Twitter's terms of service!
